2. How We Use Your Information

Track free analysis usage (via browser fingerprint for guests)
Improve our AI models and overall service quality

3. Payment Data

All payments are processed by Polar (polar.sh). When you make a purchase:

Your payment details (credit card number, billing address) are collected and stored exclusively by Polar.
WRVLT does not store, process, or have access to your full payment card information.
We receive only transaction confirmations (product purchased, amount, status) via Polar webhooks.
Polar's privacy practices are governed by their own Privacy Policy.

4. Data Storage & Security

Images: Stored securely on Cloudflare R2 with access-controlled URLs
Account data: Stored in Supabase with row-level security
All data: Encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS
Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel only

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate WRVLT:

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. Your data is only shared with the services listed above as strictly necessary to provide the Service.

7. Data Retention

Guest photos: Automatically deleted within 24 hours
Registered user data: Retained as long as your account is active
Cancelled subscribers: Wardrobe and profile data are preserved so you can resubscribe without losing your items
Deleted accounts: All data is permanently removed within 30 days of a deletion request
Anonymized data: After account deletion, de-identified styling metadata (e.g., clothing categories, color trends, seasonal patterns) may be retained for aggregate trend analysis and service improvement. No personally identifiable information is included.

8. Cookies & Tracking

WRVLT uses:

Essential cookies: For authentication session management (required for the Service to function)
Google Analytics: For anonymous usage statistics to help us improve the Service
Browser fingerprint: For guest users only, to track free analysis usage and prevent abuse

We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your personal data stored by WRVLT
Correct inaccurate data through your account settings
Delete your data at any time (see Data Deletion)
Export your data upon request
Withdraw consent for data processing (which may limit service functionality)
Opt out of daily styling emails through your subscription settings

10. Children's Privacy

WRVLT is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.

11. International Data

WRVLT serves users globally with support for English, Korean, and Japanese. Your data may be processed in different jurisdictions where our service providers operate. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international data transfers.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
